About

Adam Kirtley has over 30 years’ experience as a presenter and journalist for the BBC, combined with nearly 20 years as a communications consultant, he coaches people to communicate effectively.

He is absolutely passionate about good communication!

I get a real buzz out of using my experience and knowledge to help others make great strides in how they communicate, listen and share their messages.

Adam combines work as an international communications consultant and coach with freelance presenter roles at the BBC, which means he understands how the media works and what it wants in the digital age.

He has presented business, finance and consumer news across the British and global airwaves including BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio 5 Live, BBC Radio 2, the BBC World Service and the BBC News Channel.

He is also a regular and popular voice on BBC Radio Scotland, BBC Radio Wales, BBC Radio Ulster and the BBC’s 40 regional stations.

Adam’s BBC career began in London on a cold January day in 1984 when he joined the World Service as a graduate trainee!

He has put those BBC skills into practice coaching thousands of senior executives and managers in media interview and presentation skills..

Away from work Adam lives in Winchester and is married with three children and the family dog.
